For Admins: Listing a Course or Program in Catalog
This assumes all policy requirements have been satisfied; those are outside the scope of this tutorial.
The first requirement is that the course exist and not already be listed in Catalog.
A course URL look like this:

Scenario 1: Add a Single Course
Step 1: Login to Catalog as an Admin.
Step 2: The initial page will be "listings". Select "+ Course"
Step 3: Find the course you want to add by searching by name.
Step 4: On the following Listing Settings page, the following options are REQUIRED:
Step 5: Set optional settings:
Step 6: Be sure the underlying course itself is published, or students will be unable to enroll.
Step 7: Click Save.
Scenario 2: Add a Program
Step 1: Login to Catalog as an Admin.
Step 2: Create a course listing per scenario 1.
Step 3: After that's done, return to "listings" and select "+ Program"
Step 4: On the following Listing Settings page, the following options are REQUIRED:
Step 5: Set optional settings:
Step 6: Be sure the underlying course itself is published, or students will be unable to enroll.
Step 7: Click Save
Step 8: Now the "Requirements" tab will be enabled, towards the top of the page. Click it, then click "+ Requirement"
Step 9: Find the course you want to add by searching by name. (see step 2)

- Listing Path (note the restrictions: lower case letters, numbers, and dashes only)
- Teaser (this is a short text displayed on the course listing card)
- Full Description (this is a longer course description displayed when the user clicks on the teaser)
Step 5: Set optional settings:
- Set as open for enrollment (so it will display in the Catalog portal)
- Set an enrollment cap, and turn on the optional wait list
- Set listing as hidden from catalog, visible in catalog, or direct-link-only
- Upload a course image (STRONGLY recommended)
- Set number of days students have to complete the course
- Credit amount (this can be printed on a completion certificate)
- Enrollment fee
- List order (to put at the top of the Catalog listings)
- Section for new enrollments
- Tags
